Mupirocin

Mechanism of action

-Mupirocin(pseudomonic acid A, or bactroban)is an isolated from Pseudomonas flourescens.
-Isoleucyl t-RNA synthatase is an enzyme which promote conversion of isoleucine and t-RNA to isoleucyl t-RNA
-Mupirocin binds selectively and revesibly to isoleucine t-RNA synthatase which results in inhibits of bacterial protein and RNA synthesis.
